VIRGINIA E. (WEIMER) STIMMEL

Virginia Elizabeth Stimmel, 80, of Connellsville, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Excela Frick Hospital. She was born on September 6, 1941 to the late Holbert Weimer and the late Bertha Mae Shaner Clark. 
Virginia was a homemaker and loved to take care of her family. They will cherish the many fond memories of her cooking for them. In her free time, she enjoyed word search puzzles and walking. She attended the New Life Church in Smock, PA. 
Surviving are her children William T. (Sandi) Stimmel, Jr., Lulu A. (Charles "Skip") Sekeres, Mary (David) Miller, Jimmie Stimmel, Curtis "Tom" (Melinda) Stimmel, Mark Stimmel, Daniel (Lisa) Stimmel, Icey (David) Marquez, Charlie (Chrissy) Stimmel, Jesse (Susan) Stimmel and Rex (Linette) Stimmel; 24 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers, John Malone, Omer Clark and Robert Shaner; sisters, Betty Smith, Minnie DeMarco, Evelyn Bowser, Ada Bageant; numerous nieces and nephews. 
In addition to her parents, Virginia was predeceased by her husband, William T. Stimmel Sr., her children, Nobleen Thomas and Robert Wesley Stimmel; and her brothers Leroy Malone, William Bodkin, Elmer Weimer and Arthur Shaner. 
Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA on Friday, December 10, 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, December 11, 8-10 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Allen Ellsworth officiating. 
Interment to follow at Franklin Cemetery, Dunbar.
