THOMAS EDWARD BIERER SR

Thomas Edward Bierer Sr., 81, of Dunbar, PA, died on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in WVU Uniontown Hospital Uniontown, PA. He was born on January 12, 1943, in Dunkard Twp., Greene Co., PA, to the late George Edward Bierer and the late Marie (Cooper) Bierer.

 In his lifetime, Thomas worked as a welder, and a forklift operator. In his spare time, he most enjoyed spending time outdoors & particularly enjoyed hunting. 

 He is survived by his children, Thomas Edward “Bub” (Raymie) Bierer II and Greg (Stacy Jo) Bierer; grandchildren, Larry Paul Morris Jr., Cody Fisher and significant other Tiffany Valdiserri, and Christopher Bierer; great grandchildren, Haven Fisher, Bryan Show, Avery Fisher, Tanner Fisher and Kyler Fisher as well as many nieces and nephews. 

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Ellen Bierer, granddaughter, Rebecca Show and siblings, Ruby Bochnak, Evelyn Martin, Wilma Cope, George Bierer, James Bierer, Harold Bierer and Phyllis Thomas. 

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. 

 Private interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar, PA.
