SYLVIA MAE (LITTERIO) SPARROW

 Sylvia Mae (Litterio) Sparrow, 83, of Dunbar, PA, passed away in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
 She was born April 16, 1939, in Connellsville, PA to the late Nick Litterio and the late Rose Mary (Sferro) Litterio. 
As well as a homemaker, her employment career included Dunbar Township Elementary School & Charming Shoppes Inc. She attended St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Dunbar, PA. 
Sylvia is survived by her children, John W. “Bill” Sparrow Jr. and Brian Sparrow and her grandson, Brian “Zachariah” Sparrow. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, John W. “Bill” Sparrow Sr.  
In accordance with Sylvia’s wish, there will be NO PUBLIC VISITATION. 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Ranch Road, Dunbar with Fr. Julius Capongpongan as Celebrant. 
Inurnment at St. Rita Cemetery, Connellsville, PA.
