Paul Eugene Klink Jr.

Paul Eugene Klink Jr., 72, of Dunbar, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

He was born on April 24, 1951, in Connellsville, PA, to the late Paul Eugene Klink Sr. and the late Betty Lorraine (Martin) Klink.

Paul was a member of Dunbar Baptist Church in Dunbar, PA where he accepted Christ as his Savior.

He was an incredibly patriotic man who loved his country. He was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. During his time in the service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He also received a Certificate of Service Appreciation from President Richard Nixon.

Upon returning home from the service, Paul joined the workforce. He was employed by the PA Department of Labor until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and maintaining the flowers he planted.

Paul loved life! He loved his family and they loved him dearly as well. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his siblings, Arleen (Barry) Burd, Sue Klink, and Mike (Ginny) Klink; nephew, Robert (Alexis) Klink and children Robert J. Klink, Ayveon, and Ah’meara.

He will also be missed by his loyal furry companion, his Papion, “Benji”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Richard Klink.

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Robert Wrachford officiating.

Military honors will be accorded by Hopwood AMVETS Post 103.

Interment to follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar.
