NAOMI ANTOINETTE (ROSECK) KUBALA

Naomi Antoinette “Na” (Roseck) Kubala, 91, of Dunbar, PA passed away, Saturday, April 2, 2023 in WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA.
She was born on December 24, 1931, in Dunbar Township, PA, to the late Lloyd “Jimmy” Roseck and the late Esther (Cameron) Roseck. 
For over 60 years, she was a very involved member, of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Dunbar. She loved doing anything that helped the church. 
In her working years, Naomi was a butcher for Pechin’s and later on, for Giant Eagle in Uniontown. Additionally, she held the role of judge of elections for Fayette County for over 30 years.  
In her spare time, she loved to travel. 
Naomi will be remembered as a spitfire who never backed down. 
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Stanley) Cudnick, Dr. Jim Kubala and fiancee Mary Bromley, and Kathy (Johnny) Hartman; sister, Betty Kay (Lester) Baur; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lewis George “Chip” Kubala; sister, Joanne Bryner and brother-in-law, “Lukey”. 
Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Ranch Road, Dunbar, with Fr. Peter Guardiano as Celebrant.
Interment to follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville, PA.
