MARY ‘MARY KAY’ KATHRYN TUREK

Mary Kathryn Turek, 61, of Connellsville, PA, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Scottdale Manor Rehabilitation Center, in Scottdale, PA.

She was born on September 7, 1961, in Connellsville, PA,  to the late Walter Eugene Turek Sr. and the late Kathryn Elizabeth Machinia Turek.

Mary Kay was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. 

She was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School, class of 1979, and a graduate of West Virginia Career Institute, class of 1993.

She is survived by her loving children, Karen Elizabeth Turek David, Christopher Ronald Turek and Casey Dawn Turek; grandchildren, Hayleigh Kathryn Elizabeth Turek, Kyleigh Stephanie Marie Turek, Karleigh Dawn Johnette David, Caitlyn Jordan Turek, Ryan Lee Turek, and Trevor Jacob Turek; sister, Stephanie Louise McClain and husband, David; nieces and nephews, Autumn (Mike) Gustafson, John (Cherri) Turek, Jeremy (Bernadette) Joshua McClain, David (Carol) McClain Jr., Eric (Sara) McClain, Brian (Jenny) McClain, Charlotte (Tommy) Dugger, Kathryn (David) Nebraska, Luke Dyer, Heath (Meagan) Dyer, Sean Livingston, and Dustin Turek; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Paul Richard Turek and Walter Eugene Turek Jr., and a sister, Susan Marie Turek Dyer.

Friends will be received in the Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, on Monday, July 31, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 1, 2023, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
