MARY ELIZABETH (KRAUSE) CAIN

Mary Elizabeth Cain, 84, of Leisenring, PA, died Monday, October 24, 2022 at home, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born, January 22, 1938 to the late Herman Krause and the late Helen (Mehalic) Krause. 

Mary was employed by Anchor Glass for 45 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was extremely kind and genuine. 

Mary is survived by her husband of 64 years, William John Cain; her children, Christine Grimm and husband, Jim, and Teri Bach; son-in-law, Jim Tony; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Dr. Deanna Ritenour and husband, Chuck, and children, Ryland and Tyler; Brenton Tony and girlfriend, Christina Bozzuto, and children, Khyler and Jameson; Jimmy and Jenn Tony, and children, Kinsley and Addison; Dr. Ashton Grimm, and Allie Grimm and boyfriend, Hudson Novak; brother, Gerald Krause and wife, Patricia Krause. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri A. Tony. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mary’s caregivers, Rose, Pauline, the Amedysis staff and Dr. Paul Means. 

Interment will take place at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville, PA. Services will be private.
