MARION ‘MOE’ JOSEPH MADARISH

Marion Joseph “Moe” Madarish, 76, of Dunbar, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at home.

 He was born on August 15, 1947, in Trotter, PA, to the late Joseph Adam Madarish and the late Stella Anna (Watnoski) Madarish.

 Marion belonged to St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Dunbar.

 During his working years, he was a hot end mechanic for Anchor Glass in Connellsville, PA.

 Marion is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Darlene (McNatt) Madarish; daughter, Dana Madarish; granddaughter, Brandie (Emmert) Herbert; grandson, Christopher Kelley; great-grandchildren, Alanna, Wesson, Arliss, Holden, and one on the way; sisters, Veronica (Lloyd) Martin and Betty Franko; many nieces and many nephews; as well as many good friends and neighbors.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, whom he missed dearly, Jeffrey Madarish; brothers, Walter Madarish, Leo Madarish, Stanley Madarish and Edward Madarish; sisters, Genevieve Madarish, Dolores Peace and Mildred Warnick; brothers-in-law, William “Bill” Franko, Andrew Peace and James Warnick; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Madarish, Violet Madarish and Barbara Madarish.

 Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street; Dunbar, PA, on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Blessing Service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Peter Guardiano.
