LONNIE JAY MILLER

Lonnie Jay Miller, 50, of Dunbar, PA, died on Friday, July 10, 2026, in Penn Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, PA.

He was born on December 12, 1975, in Connellsville, PA, to Nancy Lee (Daniels) Miller and the late Kenneth Leroy Miller.

Lonnie is survived by his three children, Austin Schomer and his significant other, Kelly Thomas, Brandon Miller, and Anna Mae Miller, to whom he will be remembered as having been a good dad to; one granddaughter, six siblings, Kenny Miller and girlfriend, Julie Martin, Sheila (Jack) Halfhill, Mark Allen Miller, Linda Lee Miller, Nancy Marlene (James “Matt”) Christian, and Jenny Kay Miller, and boyfriend, Shawn Kurchak; many nieces and nephews; one uncle; two aunts; Denver Murphy who was like a father to him, and his girlfriend, Janice Jaquay.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sarah Ann Miller; niece, Renesmay Ann Eutsey; aunt, Debbie McGill; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Lonnie loved woodworking and called his sister daily to help her with projects for her store.

In his spare time, he could often be found fishing, a pastime that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Jason Baker officiating.
