KAREN ANN (SISLER) DUKE

Karen Ann Sisler Duke, 77, of Tampa, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, January, 22, 2022, in St. Joseph's Hospital North, Lutz, FL.
She was born July 28, 1944, to the late Gaylord Sisler and the late Florence O. Remaley Sisler Marhefka. 

In 1987, Karen moved from PA to central FL and subsequently to Tampa, FL in 1994. There, she worked for a number of companies over her long career as an executive secretary. Prior to retirement, she worked for Tampa Electric Company. She was an avid sports fan, cheering on many teams, the Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Buccaneers followed closely by her Pittsburgh teams. She also enjoyed both the Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles; the schools that her two sons attended. 
Karen is survived by her sons, Jason Duke and Toni Buxton, and Ryan (Cindy) Duke, and her four grandchildren, Keaton Duke (18), Sophia Duke (14), Isabella Duke (13) and Harlowe Duke (7), who will remember her as being their loving "Nana" who was interested in all of their lives and endeavors.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Steve Marhefka. 
Arrangements by Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA. 
There will be NO PUBLIC VISITATION and interment will be private in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville, PA.
