JOYCE MARIE (GIBBS) MADDAS

On November 12, 2022, Joyce Marie Maddas, 75, died peacefully at home. Joyce is survived by her loving daughter, Lora Maddas and daughter-in-law, Kelly Pomarico; her mother, Maxine Gibbs; brothers, Robert Gibbs, Matthew Gibbs and wife Candi; sister-in-law, Nancy Gibbs and all of her wonderful nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. 
She was preceded in death by her father, Orval Ross Gibbs; brother, Ross Gibbs and sister-in-law, Linda Gibbs. 
Joyce loved her family fiercely and would do anything for them. She was devoted to her farm and all of her animals, including her two dogs, three grand dogs, two horses, two birds and two cats. She loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed going to the barn. 
Joyce was a hard worker and appreciated the simple joys in life, like her flower gardens, singing birds and all of the various wildlife she would see in the woods outside of her back door. 
Joyce was a huge movie buff and loved listening to the radio, but nothing gave her greater pleasure than spending time with her family whether it was huge family gatherings, or just coffee on the porch in the morning. 
Joyce was a very special lady with a heart of gold and she will be greatly missed. 
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. 
There will be NO PUBLIC VISITATION.
