JOHN ANDREW KNOX

John Andrew Knox, 28, of Dunbar, died Sunday, January 8, 2023, at home. 

He was born February 23, 1994, in Uniontown, PA, to Michael Lee Knox and Sherry Ann (Long) Knox.

John participated in both the Boy Scouts and 4-H. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his mother Sherry’s fiancé, George Staley; his fiancee, Roseanna J. Tuttle; stepchildren, Connie and Ashley; siblings, Jessie Knox, Skylar Knox and Mykayla Knox; grandparents, Mary Sullivan and Barbara Knox Brown; aunts and uncles, Angel Sullivan and Anthony, Russell (Holly) Sullivan, John Jr. (Crystal) Sullivan and Lisa Knox; stepbrother, Derek Staley and fiancé Erin; stepsister, Dakota Staley and fiancé Zac; step-nephew, Arlo Staley; many cousins and numerous pets. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Sullivan Sr. and Kenneth Brown. 

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the hour of service with Bishop Robert Swope Sr. officiating.
