JEFFREY ALAN MADARISH

Jeffrey Alan Madarish, 51, of Monarch, PA, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, in Mon Valley Health Medical Center, Morgantown, WV. 

 He was born June 13, 1971, in Connellsville, PA to Marion Joseph Madarish and Darlene (McNatt) Madarish.

Jeffrey graduated from Penn State University with his RN, BSN. 
 
As an RN, he first worked at Henry Clay Villa in Markleysburg, PA, and then at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Jeffrey was passionate about his job and absolutely loved being a nurse. He was very compassionate, caring, and skilled in his chosen profession.

Jeffrey was a people person that thoroughly enjoyed the company of others. His mere presence lit up the room as he was so much fun to be around and he made friends easily. Those who knew him loved him and will miss him deeply. He loved his daughter and grandchildren more than anything. One of his favorite pastimes was to sit on the porch with his mom and dad. He also really enjoyed taking rides in his jeep. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Brandie (Emmert) Herbert; grandchildren, Alanna Herbert, Wesson Herbert, Arliss Herbert, and Holden Herbert; sister, Dana Madarish and significant other, Barry Breakiron; grandfather, Robert Colbert; nephew, Christopher Kelley as well as his aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stella and Joseph Madarish, Margaret and Raymond Cecil and Laverne Colbert as well as aunts and uncles. 

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Monday, May 22, 2023, noon to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Blessing Service at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Peter Guardiano.
