JAMES ‘HOWIE’ E. HOLLIS JR

James Edward “Howie” Hollis Jr., 19, of Connellsville, PA, died Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at home. 
He was born November 14, 2003, in Greensburg, PA, to Tonya Lynn (Roberts) Brink and James Edward Hollis Sr.
James will be fondly remembered by many, but especially by his family whom he loved dearly and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with. He could often be found playing video games with his brothers, and really liked “Black Ops 2”. He also truly enjoyed anything that he could be doing outdoors; going mudding with his brothers, hunting and fishing. 
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Vicki Roberts; paternal grandparents, Gene (Valeri) Hollis; brothers, Kyle Brink and girlfriend, Dana Smith, Tylor Brink, and Cameron Roberts and girlfriend, Alena Fletcher, and Leland Hollis; sister, Elizabeth Hollis; aunts, Tammy Kostelnik, Desiree Murphy, Roxann Roberts and Jeani (Chuck) Green; uncles, Dwayne Roberts and girlfriend, Angela Shade, Denver (Trista) Murphy and Derrick Murphy; great aunt, Debra Moore; many cousins including Sherry and Rebecca as well as his closest cousins, Shawn, Zaden, Makenzie, Ralph and Oliver; friend, Ken Brink; a niece on the way, Madelyn; his mother’s boyfriend, Buzz Miller; James’ girlfriend, Julia; and his dogs, Oreo and Butterball. 
He was preceded in death by his aunts, Cecelia Roberts, Mary Rodman and Rose Murphy as well as his uncle, George Moore. 
Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home,  Sunday, March 26, 2023, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Monday, March 27, 2023, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. 
Interment to follow in Normalville Cemetery, Normalville, PA.
