EUGENE ’Gene’ Poo-Paw’ WILLIAM CRANDLE

Eugene William “Gene” “Poo-Paw” Crandle, 74, of Dunbar Township, PA, died on Friday, January, 5, 2024, in his son’s home in Connellsville, PA, with his loving family by his side. 

He was born on May 3, 1949, in Jamaica, NY, to the late Eugene G. Crandle and the late Josephine (Tomanelli) Crandle. 

Eugene was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. 

He is survived by children, Bill Crandle and Danielle Emerick  and Eugene Crandle and Lucy Childs; multiple grandchildren  including Linkin and Lexi with whom he was especially close and several great-grandchildren; siblings, Joann Quince of TN, Patricia Bakersky of NC, Donna Bombara of NV, Richard Crandle of NY and Diane Ging of NY; best friend Joyce; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma June (Fike) Crandle; mother-in-law Leona P. Fike and father-in-law Wilbert P. Fike.

In accordance with Eugene’s wishes, there will be NO PUBLIC VISITATION.
