Ericca Dawn “Ricky” Tufano, 75, of Dunbar, passed away August 4, 2022, in Excela Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA.
She was born in Uniontown, PA, on April 15, 1947, to the late William Louis Tufano and the late Jean Goodwin Tufano.
Ericca worked for 37 years at Excela Health Frick Hospital in the medical records department primarily as the tumor registrar. She was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church; was a lifelong resident of Dunbar; and an avid animal lover, especially dogs.
She is survived by her brother, Barry (Tedi) Tufano; nephew, Alex Tufano and his significant other, Kelsey Ryan; many cousins and many special friends; as well as her love, rescue dog, Rufus. She always said “who rescued who?”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special cousins, Gay Tufano Lingesso and Chris Tufano Dougherty.
Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home,
28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2022, at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Ranch Road, Dunbar, with Father Peter Guardiano as Celebrant.
