DIANNA ‘DEE’ LYNN (GAGEAN) MURPHY

Dianna Lynn “Dee” (Gagean) Murphy, 55 of Commodore, PA, died on July 13, 2023, at home. 

She was born on January 17, 1968, in Connellsville, PA, to the late William Gagean Sr. and the late Florence (Swink) Gagean. 

Dianna was a 1987 graduate of Garfield High School in Akron Ohio. She worked as a laborer at Picasso Lures. 

She is survived by her husband, James “Mike” Murphy Sr.; children, Charles Murphy Jr. and James Murphy Jr.; siblings, William (Margie) Gagean Jr., John (Teala) Gagean Sr., Richard (Jennifer) Gagean and Mary Lovelace as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. 

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made directly to the Dianna L. Murphy Memorial Fund in c/o the funeral home.
