Betty Lou Jefferies Cooper, 99, of Dunbar, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Peroni Personal Home Care, Uniontown, PA.
She was born December 4, 1921 in Dunbar, PA to the late Thomas Jefferies and Agnes Cole Jefferies.
She was a homemaker for most of her life. During World War II, she worked for the Draft Board Office located in Dunbar.
She was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church, in Dunbar, where she was a Sunday School teacher, served as the church treasurer and was the Vacation Bible School Director.
Betty was very active until a couple of years ago and had many interests. She enjoyed bowling, playing softball, art and drawing. She excelled at outdoor activities; raising chickens and guinea hens, and was a proficient hunter.
She is survived by her dedicated caregivers, Tim and Darlene Hawkins and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Charles Cooper; siblings, Alverda Wilson Dillinger, Leroy Jefferies and Warren Jefferies.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedysis Home Health Care and Hospice as well as Peroni Personal Home Care for the compassion they showed in their care for Betty.
