ANNA MAY JONES

Anna May Jones, "Jonesy" age 87, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at her home. Anna May was born on May 7, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Maggie (Means) Jones of Dunbar, PA. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Jones; sister, Barbara Ann Dalton, and infant sister who died at birth; long-living companion and best friend Patricia J. Podsadowski; nephew, Mark Jones and niece, Brenda Jones. Anna May was an Honorary Retired Navy Veteran of the United States of America. Anna May is survived by three nieces, Anna Mae Swope, Joyce Ann Rupert, and Jamie Sue Troyer; and 5 nephews, Tom Jones, Clarence Jones, Keith Jones, Ronnie Jones, and Jack Dalton Jr.; and her two "kids" Macy and Foxy. The family would like to thank best friends, Mike McKinney, Dennis and Holly Quigley, and Mt. Carmel Hospice who helped her until her life's ending.

Friends will be received at the Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from noon to 7:00 p.m.. and Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. when a blessing service will be said by Fr. Paul Lisik. Interment to follow at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville, PA.
