ANGELA MARIE (LININGER) SWOPE

Angela M. (Lininger) Swope of Smithfield, PA, known as “Mimi” to all who have met her; age 59, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at home.

She was born in Uniontown, PA, on October 10, 1964, to the late Clarence Lininger and the late Betty (Golden) Pavone Lininger.

Angela will be remembered fondly as a loving, caring and kind person that would help everyone that she could.

She loved being around her family anytime that she had the opportunity to do so.

She is survived by her husband, Harry “Jake” Swope; children, Heather Lininger and fiancé Joe of Smithfield, PA, Kaytlin Lininger and fiancé Scott of Connellsville, PA, Tami Swope of Connellsville, PA and Jacob Swope and fiancé Andrew “Drew” of Connellsville, PA; adoptive daughters, Rachel Powley and Thara Murray; grandchildren, Kaidence and Skyler Swope; Joshua and Roman Thomas; Gabby, Domonic and Dakota Nicholson; sister, Brenda Morris and husband Keith of Lemont Furnace, PA and brother, Clarence Lininger and wife Brenda of Connellsville, PA, stepmother, Dale Ann Drake Lininger, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles N. Pavone Sr.; two grandchildren, Morgan Swope and Raymond T. Thomas III; and an adoptive grandson, Ziylen Thomas.

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street; Dunbar, PA, on Monday, January 1, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the hour of service will Bishop Robert Swope Sr. officiating.

Interment to follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar, PA.
