Ruth Ann (Duley) Rodeheaver, 91, of Denbo, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at home, with her family by her side.
She was born on January 6, 1934, in Morgantown, WV, to the late Dewey Thurman Moore and the late Kathryn Gervacious (Rossi) Duley.
Ruth will be fondly remembered for truly loving her family, and is survived by her six children, Harry Stewart, Terry (Melinda) Stewart, Sharon Porter, Leslie Rodeheaver and girlfriend, Linda Nick, Norma (Raymond) Price, and Francis (Lisa) Rodeheaver; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; five siblings, Clarence Duley, Roberta (Wendell) Seese, Thomas (Cindy) Moore, Mary (John) Frankhouser, Joyce Rhoda; several nieces and nephews as well as her best friend, Eliza Costello.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rodeheaver, four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; six brothers, three sisters; two daughters-in-law, Gayle Stewart, and Rhonda Rodeheaver; one son-in-law, Robert Porter; four sisters-in-law; and, three brothers-in-law.
In her spare time, her hobbies included building puzzles, doing crossword puzzles, and playing bingo.
The family would like to thank Ruth’s caretakers, Desiree Basinger, Raymond Price, and Pauline Jensen for the care that they provided to her. They would also like to express their gratitude to Amedysis Hospice’s, Jason Zofchak, and Adelia Stillwell for the care that they provided Ruth during their time with her as well.
Friends will be received by Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.
Interment to follow at Fairview (Percy) Cemetery.
