Richard Franklin "Dicky" Lowry Sr., 66, of Dunbar, PA, died on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
He was born on March 9, 1958, in Connellsville, PA, to the late Fred Lowry and the late Lillian (Martin) Lowry.
Richard is survived by his five children, Delina Thomas, Richard F. (Lora Scagline) Lowry Jr., John A. Lowry and his significant other Heather, Jason M. Lowry, and Christopher D. Lowry; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Vera Martin, Fred “Rick” (Mary) Lowry and John “Jack” Lowry as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teressa Carol (Thomas) Lowry to whom he was married for 25 years at the time of her passing; as well as five siblings, Judy Lowry, Alice Lowry, Tom Lowry, Nancy Lowry and Marty Lowry.
Friends will be received at the Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the “Richard Franklin Lowry Sr." Memorial Fund. Please send all contributions directly to the funeral home.
