Rheabon Carroll “Rhea” Bowers Jr., 59, of Connellsville, PA, passed away at home on Thursday,
June 6, 2024, with his loving family by his side.
He was born on May 26, 1965, in Norton, VA, to Christa Walli (Hartman) Bowers and the late
Rheabon Carroll Bowers Sr.
Rhea attended Bayside High School in Virginia Beach, VA.
For work, he was a concrete finisher for Coastal Concrete Construction Company in Virginia
Beach for 15 years and was presently working as a dedicated employee of NobleClad.
Rhea will fondly and admirably be remembered as a hard worker. Working hard and making
great sacrifices allowed him to provide for his family, whom he loved with all of his heart.
He possessed a great loyalty for those that loved him and to those that he loved. He loved his
mom dearly and was her baby.
Although he was a man of routine, he had several pastimes that he enjoyed when life allowed.
He thoroughly enjoyed both riding and working on his motorcycles. He taught his son many
skills regarding small engines, and he could truly fix anything. He was a member of Dunbar
Eagles Chapter 3293 where he frequented to support many causes.
He loved to shoot guns and to hunt. He took his son hunting often and spent a great deal of
time over many years in the woods with him as well as with his late brother-in-law, Donald Sines.
Together, they taught “Little Rhea” how to be a man and to always work hard. They were the
best role models possible for him. Rhea was always good for a joke and didn’t mind having a
cold beverage while he told them.
But, at the end of the day, the one thing that truly matters, is that he will be remembered as
being the best dad ever!
In addition to his mother, Rhea is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sue (Sines) Bowers; son,
Rheabon Bowers III and his fiancée Amber Johnson; Heart son, Stone Williams; Brother, William Bowers; sister, Sandra (Tom) Shirk and her children, Amberlea, Bobby Rhea, (Autumn), Colton, and Penelope his great-niece, Jaylea; as well as many other nieces and nephews, including his special niece, Allie J. Bryson; brothers-in-law, James Sines and Delbert (Kathi Jo) Sines; sisters-in-law, Barb Sines, Amy (Bill) Ghrist, Susie Sines, and Mary Pat Sines; uncle, Hobert (Linda) Bowers, and many friends, including special friends, Bill, Rok, Lance, Charlie, Wheels, Brian, Tammy, Ken, Mark, Kim, and Sandy.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his nephews, Justin Noland, Jason Sines,
James Sines Jr. and Travis Perryman; nieces, Christa Barnes and Makayla Lymaster; brothers-in-
law, Ronald Sines, Donald Sines, John Sines, and sisters-in-law, Janet Sines and Carol Sines.
