RHEA A. LEAPLINE, 69, of Dunbar, PA, died Friday, January 15, 2021 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA.
She was born April 19, 1951 in Connellsville, PA, daughter of the late Doris Trimbath Kerr.
She worked at Linden Hall for over 20 years as a line cook. Later she worked at SCI Westmoreland in the kitchen and laundry. After retirement she worked as a cake decorator at Connellsville Walmart for a short time. At the time of her death she was a care giver for Home Instead Senior Care.
Rhea enjoyed fishing, camping, cookouts, going to lunch with her dear friend Carol Ludwig and spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren. Over the years she never missed a dance recital and loved attending their school and sporting events. Her cats Paige and June were very special to her.
She was a caring person with a huge heart. She made many friends over the years.
Surviving are husband, Danny 'Smokey' Leapline Sr.; children, Dana (Ronald) Herman, Danny Ray Leapline; grandchildren, Danny K. Leapline, Lauren Herman, Leah Herman; brothers & sisters Joseph Scott (Becky) Hardy, Nola Bryner, Dennis Murphy, Vicky Mulroy, Jacob (Lisa) Kerr; nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by brother, Jack Murphy.
Friends will be received in the Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville St, Dunbar, on Thursday, January 21, 2021, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, the hour of the memorial service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
