PHYLLIS JOANN WINGROVE

Phyllis Joann “Teenie” Wingrove, 74, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA.

 She was born on May 28, 1949, in Dunbar, PA, to the late Thelma Pearl Hall and the late William Darnell.

 Her favorite pastime, was spent playing cards, in particular, poker, as well as watching Judge Judy on TV.

 Teenie was loved so much and will be greatly missed. She is survived by the one thing in life that she loved the most, her five children, Laura Wingrove, Lisa Huffine, Glenda (Jeff) Dunn, Brenda Zebley and Lee Wingrove Jr.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Beatrice “Sally” Hair, Rita (Cliff) Hall and Lois Darnell as well as many nieces and nephews.

 Teenie also loved her fur babies, “Baby”, “Pearl Hall” and “Chicky”.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Hall, Gerald “Pooch” Hall, Melvin “Spike” Smalley, Ralph “Jomp” Smalley, Bill Darnell, Darrell Hall and Jim Darnell.

 In accordance with Teenie’s wishes, there will be NO PUBLIC VISITATION.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Dunbar Eagles. All family and friends are invited.
