PENNY L (LEAPLINE) ZEBLEY

Penny L. (Leapline) Zebley, 56, of Dunbar, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on April 14, 1969, in Uniontown, PA, to Deborah A. (Umbel) Leapline and the late Lee Scott Leapline.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California University of Pennsylvania.

Penny will be fondly remembered for her loving heart and generous spirit. She lived for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She adored anything that put a smile on their faces, and their joy brought her true happiness.

She had a competitive spirit and, in her free time, liked to fish, go geocaching, and defeat any escape room that she could find.

Anyone who knew her knew of her longtime love of animals, in particular that of horses and dogs. A passion that she shared with her sisters, Dayna and Deborah.

She is survived by her three children, Jerod Watson, Krista Watson, and Cassandra Watson; eight grandchildren, Parker Watson, Matthew “Cole” Stillwagon Jr., Kymberly Coffman, Ella Coffman, Elizabeth Watson, Harley Thompson, Mia Thompson, and Hudson Thompson; siblings, Dayna (Dennis) Basinger, Dave Leapline, Bryce (Nicole) Leapline; many nieces and nephews, including Travis Basinger, Rachael Basinger and Dawson Leapline whom she loved dearly; as well as her longtime friend, Mike Pennington.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah E. Leapline.

Arrangements by Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pennsville Baptist Church, 3298 Richey Road, Mt. Pleasant, PA, with Pastor Robert Bixel and Pastor Terry V. Murray officiating.
