Paul Frederick Miller, age 88, of Mount Pleasant, PA, formerly of Dunbar, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 26, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Paul was born on October 5, 1937, to Paul Edward Miller and Mae (Hardy) Miller in Connellsville, PA.
After graduating from Dunbar Township High School, he served in the United States Navy and United States Navy Reserves for a total of eight years.
He continued his education at Penn State Fayette, where he received an associate degree in Engineering.
Paul owned Miller Truss Company and several other businesses through the years, always taking great care and pride in his work. He was a leader to those he loved, offering steady guidance and solutions.
A man of faith, Paul was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Dunbar and then St. Pius X Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Frances (Fronczek) Miller; their three daughters, Lisa (Bill) Hominsky, Joyce Dixon, and Paula Harnish; his grandchildren, Mary (Scott) Marra, Paul (Alicia) Martin, Olivia Dixon, Luke Dixon, Nolan Harnish, and Beth Harnish. He was also blessed to meet his great-grandchildren, Henry, Josephine, and Gavin Marra.
He was predeceased by his parents and his son-in-law, Alex Dixon.
Paul’s family would like to thank his wonderful caregivers for their compassion and support.
Arrangements by Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA.
In accordance with Paul's wishes, a Blessing service and Prayers of Committal took place with the immediate family present. Fr. Tom Avila was celebrant.
Private interment took place at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar, PA.
Paul will be remembered by those who knew him for his strength, humor, and loving heart.
