Marjorie L. Black, 61, of Dunbar, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, at home.
Born and raised in Dunbar, Marjorie was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and deep love for animals. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially the magic of Disney. Her warmth and generosity touched all who knew her, and she was a source of comfort and love to many.
Marjorie is survived by her beloved son, Michael Leapline; brother and sister; stepdaughter and her family; the families of her stepsons; stepfather; brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who were like family to her.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Barry; her father, Joseph "Joe Buck" Martin, whom she missed dearly; and her loving mother, Geraldine Garcia, who all preceded her in death.
Arrangements by Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pennsylvania.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.
Much like she frequently did in life, Marjorie, once again in death, has committed another selfless act, and her body was donated to science in order to help others.
Condolences may be sent to her son, Michael, and other family, at www.burhanscrousefuneralhome.com or on the funeral home’s Facebook page, @burhanscrouse.
