Lois Ann (Wolfe) Halfhill, 91, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at home.
She was born on December 19, 1933, in North Union Township, PA, to the late Charles Marion Wolfe and the late Mary Goldie (Herring) Wolfe.
Lois was a member of Pechin Community Chapel in Dunbar, PA, and proudly lived her life as a faith-filled Christian.
She will be fondly remembered as being everyone’s “Grandma”. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many others deeply and her absence will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her four daughters, Regina Nicklow, Judith (John) Keilbach, Anita Abbott, and Vanessa Wilson; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Doris McLaughlin; several nieces and nephews, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ivan Halfhill, to whom she was happily married for fifty-seven years at the time of his passing; brothers, Franklin Wolfe, David “Ray” Wolfe, and William Wolfe, as well as her sons-in-law, Samuel Nicklow, Michael Abbott, and Kenneth Wilson.
Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Private interment to take place in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Lois’s name to Pechin Community Chapel, 474 Ferguson Road, Dunbar, PA 15431.
