KAYLA DAWN SMITH

Kayla Dawn Smith, 33, of Scottdale, died on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

She was born on March 4, 1990, in Mt. Pleasant, PA, to Warren Boord and the late Stephanie Jean Smith. 

She is survived by her children Trey Lewandowski, Trypp Smith, Emma Cain, William Smith, and Aries Schrock; siblings, Kara Smith, Kayden Smith, Max Boord and Taylor Board; nieces, Kennley Mulnix and Raylynn Mulnix; grandmother, Alice Lewandowski, stepdad, Dwayne “Mike” Hall; stepmom, Tracy Shincovich-Boord; boyfriend, Konnor Whipkey.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Steven Lewandowski. 

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, 15431, on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial fund contributions be made directly to the funeral home.
