KATHRYN L. (JOHNSON) COHEN

Kathryn L. “Kathy” (Johnson) Cohen, 78, of Uniontown, PA, died on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. 

She was born on March 1, 1947, in Uniontown, PA, to the late Paul Duff Johnson and the late Eleanor Jean (Vickers) Johnson. 

Kathryn was a member of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women as well as the Soroptimist of Fayette County. 

In her spare time, she loved to go camping with her friends and also enjoyed attending BINGO at the Hopwood Volunteer Fire Department. 

She is survived by her son, Phillip L. (Stacy) Cohen; two grandsons, Phillip S. Cohen and Aiden Cohen; and sister, Joyce Dranbauer. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanton M. Cohen; sister, Sara Jean Reckus; and brothers, Paul Wilbur Johnson, Frank Johnson, and Sam Johnson.

In accordance with Kathy’s wishes, there will be NO PUBLIC VISITATION. However, a “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
