KAREN J. (HUGHES) ROSS

KAREN J. ROSS, 76, of Dunbar, PA, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown, PA.

She was born April 1, 1944 in Connellsville, PA, daughter of Chris Hughes and Effie Hardy Hughes.

She was a member of St. Aloysius RC Church, Dunbar with great devotion to our Blessed Mother and St. Padre Pio.

She was a loving mother and homemaker.

Surviving are son, Scott (Kellie) Ross; sister, Peggy Rankin; brother, Larry Hughes; stepchildren, Louis 'Danny' Ross, Francine Singo, Carolyn Bufano; son-in-law Grady Rugg; Jason's partner Christina Crouch; grandchildren, Jake Ross, Sam Ross, Caitlin Urie, Lauren Urie, Brian Lowery, Bill Lowery, Jamie Hudock, Nikki Holonich; seven great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Louis D. Ross; son, Jason Ross; daughter, Lou Ann Rugg, brother, Chris 'Jerry' Hughes.

Friends will be received Tuesday, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm in Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville St, Dunbar.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday 10:00 am with Fr. Paul Lisik as celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
