JOSEPH ALFIE LOPES

Joseph Alfie Lopes, 56, of Dunbar, PA, died on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at home.

He was born on May 10, 1968, in Uniontown, PA, to the late Alfie Joseph Howard and the late Toni Dolores Lopes.

Joseph will be fondly remembered as a great man who would give anyone the shirt off of his back if they needed it.

He is survived by “his love” of forty years, Kathleen Lynn Shaw; son, Brad Lopes, and partner Amelia Costella; daughter, Jennifer Lopes, and partner Mike Childs; three grandchildren, Brylynn Lopes, Korbin Joseph Childs, and Emmett Childs to whom he was the best “Pappy”; siblings, Brandy Johnson; step-brother, Scott Roebuck; niece, Kylie Johnson, nephews, Eric Bowser and Anthony Bowser; great-niece, Novah’lee Howell, and great-nephews Alex Howell and Roman Childers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-brother, Ben Roebuck.

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. the hour of service.
