FLORENCE PEARL LOWRY

Florence Pearl “Flo” Lowry, 81, of Dunbar, PA, died on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at home.

She was born on September 10, 1942, in Garads Ford, PA, to the late John Henry Lowry and the late Rosella (Bryner) Shaffer.

She had attended Tucker Run Baptist Church.

Flo will be remembered as a woman who loved God; was a loving mother, grandmother and held a lot of hearts close to her.

She is survived by her three children Chuck W. Wolfe, Tim D. Wolfe Sr. and Jamie C. Wolfe and fiancée Amy L. Miner; grandchildren, Monica (Brian) Hair, Amanda Wolfe-Burke (Eric), Chip Wolfe, Brian (Missy) Wolfe, Timmy (Jessica) Wolfe Jr., Suzanne D. Wolfe and partner Soni, Jamielee (Randy) Schartiger and Luke J. (Ashley) Wolfe; great-grandchildren, David, Jacob, Evan, Tristan, Amara, Brooke, Dawson, Bryce, Adalyn, Chloee, Remi, Elliot, Levi, and Opal Florence Pearl; great-great grandchildren Hudson and Holden; many nieces and nephews, as well as many other special people in her life who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Elmer James Wolfe; partner, Calvin James Kelley; daughter, Scarlett P. Wolfe; siblings, Nib Lowry, Irvin Lowry, Ann Hughes, Christina Hughes, Doll Decker, Jack Lowry, Chuck Lowry, Dale Shaffer, Gertrude Dalton, and Charlotte Grow and daughter-in-law, Roberta Wolfe.

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home at 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment to follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

The family would like to thank OSPTA Hospice with a special thanks to nurses, Brittany, Michelle & Tina for the compassionate care that they showed Flo during their time with her.
