ERIC LEE BOWSER JR.

Eric Lee Bowser Jr., 23, of Greensburg, PA, died on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Brentwood, PA.

He was born on April 10, 2002, in Uniontown, PA, to his father, Eric Lee Bowser Sr., and mother, Sue Ann Miller.

Eric was highly intelligent, with an inner drive to always learn more. He possessed a natural ability to understand and absorb the inner workings and idiosyncrasies of the world around him. He had an insatiable curiosity and the ability to retain information that was unmatched.

When it came to music, he could master any instrument placed before him. He was well-versed in many musical genres.

He was knowledgeable about a plethora of cultures and self-taught in a variety of languages; in particular, Russian, of which he was fluent.

He was raised Christian, and had recently begun practicing Islam.

Eric loved the outdoors and going on adventures.

He will be fondly remembered as a people person who knew no strangers.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his dad, John E. Thoma; his mother’s significant other, Dwayne “Mike” Hall; four siblings, Mariah Thoma, Corey Haky, Anthony Bowser, and Kayden Smith; two uncles; two aunts; many cousins; two nieces; one nephew and, his “best friend and fur buddy”, Conrad.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cassie Thoma; grandmother, Toni Bowser; grandfather, Judson Nicola; uncle, Joe Lopes; aunt, Sarah Miller, and “best friend and fur buddy”, Baxter.

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the hour of service with Pastor Jeff Terpstra officiating.
