Dianna “Dutch” Baker, 58, of Dunbar, PA, died on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at home.
She was born in Baltimore, MD, on September 20, 1965, to Donald G. Baker and the late Julia Marie (Lape) Baker.
Dutch liked country music and she loved to dance. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, “Lucky”.
She is survived by her son, Justin Schimmel, whom she absolutely cherished; her sisters, Teresa Detrick and Donna (Ernest) Morrison; nieces, Kathy and Holly; nephews, Jason and Jeffery; great-nieces and great-nephews as well as her special friend, Ken who resides in Maine.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harol Baker, and her nephew, Sean Baker.
Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the “Dianna Baker Memorial Fund” c/o Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home. Please send contributions directly to the funeral home.
