DARREL EDWARD SELBY

Darrel Edward Selby, 76, of Brook Park, OH, originally from Dunbar, died on Thursday, August, 11, 2022 in Strongsville, OH. 
He was born September 29, 1945, at home in Dunbar, to the late Harry A. Selby and the late Jessie Anderson Selby. 
Darrel was a veteran of the United States Navy. 
In his free time, he enjoyed golf and playing the organ. 
He is survived by his nephews, Shawn (Jackie) Selby and their son, his great nephew, Harrison, Steve Selby and Stacy (Michelle) Selby, and his sister-in-law, Florence Selby. 
In addition to his parents, Darrel was preceded in death by his siblings, Harry C. Selby and Faye D. Watson, and his brother-in-law, Frank Watson. 
Arrangements by Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA.
Per Darrel’s wishes, there will be NO PUBLIC VISITATION. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Darrel’s name suggested to the Hopwood AMVETS Post 103, 123 Buttermilk Lane, Hopwood, PA, 15445. 
Private inurnment at Franklin Cemetery, Dunbar will be held at a later date with military honors accorded by the Hopwood AMVETS Post 103.
