CATHY RENEE (LEONARD) TAYLOR

Cathy Renee (Leonard) Taylor, 59, of Dunbar, PA, died on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at home.

She was born in Uniontown, PA, on January 27, 1965, to the late Bruce Darwin Leonard and the late Verna K.(Cornelius) Leonard.

Cathy will be remembered as a loving person who enjoyed caring for all people in general; she was kind and giving.

She thoroughly enjoyed all kinds of music, but she especially loved Elvis. Her favorite pastimes included playing indoor & outdoor games of all kinds.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, James “Jim” Taylor; sons, James (Emily) Taylor and Daniel Taylor; grandchildren, Kaden, Bailey, and Wyatt and sister, Teresa Snyder.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Leonard.

Friends will be received at Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home at 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, the hour of service, with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment to follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the “Cathy Taylor Memorial Fund” be made directly to the funeral home.
